• Hardware Threshold Checks: Before activation, make sure your controller variant supports the expanded numbers. For example, a mid-range RG-WS6012-L maxes out at 448 generic APs (896 wall plates) and cannot ingest the full value of a 512-pack, whereas large campus controllers like the RG-WS6512-L seamlessly scale up to 1,152 generic APs (2,304 wall plates).
• Enterprise Features Managed: Access points brought online via this license inherit the central controller’s capabilities, featuring centralized/local traffic forwarding switching, dynamic load balancing, automated multi-AP band steering, and robust security profiles (including WPA3, 802.1X, SMS authentication, and Wireless Intrusion Detection Systems).

• Delivery Format: Transmitted entirely as a digital Electronic License (E-License). The entitlement code is permanently activated against and bound to the unique physical Serial Number (SN) of your hardware wireless controller.
• License Validity: Perpetual lifetime license. Once applied to the controller, it remains permanently valid without recurring subscription extensions, periodic operational renewals, or mandatory ongoing maintenance fees.
• Standard AP Handling: Unlocks management capacity for up to 512 generic/standard access points (such as standard ceiling APs or outdoor omnidirectional models like the RG-AP680-L).
• License Pool Capacity: Provisions 512 core license allocations onto the host hardware controller.
• Wall-Plate AP Handling: Unlocks management capacity for up to 1,024 wall-plate access points. Under Ruijie's system architecture, wall-plate units (like the RG-AP180 series) consume only half (0.5) of a license key, effectively doubling your deployment capacity for in-wall hardware.
