Features
- • Single-Strand Cabling Efficiency: Implements Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) to transmit a 1310 nm signal and receive a 1550 nm signal over the same fiber core.
- • Complementary Pairing Requirement: Because this module sends at 1310 nm and listens at 1550 nm, it must be deployed opposite a matching GE-SFP-LX20-SM1550-BIDI module at the other end of the link to establish a functional circuit.
- • Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM/DOM): Features built-in DOM capability, allowing administrators to gather real-time data regarding operating temperature, supply voltage, laser bias current, and transmitted/received optical power levels.
- • Industrial-Standard Safety: Built with a solid metal housing for excellent thermal dissipation and structural longevity. It is fully Class 1 Laser safety compliant and meets RoHS environmental standards.
