Features
- • Complementary Pairing: This module is engineered specifically to operate opposite the GE-SFP-LH40-SM1310-BIDI. Because it transmits at 1550 nm and listens at 1310 nm, cross-coupling them allows simultaneous two-way communications on a single core.
- • Distributed Feedback (DFB) Laser: Employs an uncooled DFB laser source paired with a highly sensitive PIN photodiode receiver to maintain a low bit-error ratio (BER ≤ 1.0E-12) over 40 km spans.
- • Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM/DOM): Features built-in hardware diagnostics compliant with SFF-8472 standards, giving real-time data regarding laser bias, supply voltage, module temperature, and optical TX/RX power levels.
- • Hot-Pluggable Efficiency: Conforms to standard SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) footprint limitations, allowing rapid deployment, maintenance, or swapping in active Ruijie networks without system disruptions.
